How to read Shopee funnel drop-offs without drowning in exports
A practical order for reviewing views, add-to-cart, and checkout abandonment when your seller centre dump spans dozens of SKUs.
Most marketplace sellers open the seller centre, export everything, and stall. The useful move is narrower: pick a 30-day window, freeze your top twenty SKUs by revenue, and ignore the long tail until those twenty are clear.
Start with listing views to add-to-cart. If that ratio collapses only on a few SKUs, the problem is usually title clarity, main image contrast, or a price ladder that looks worse than nearby competitors—not your whole store.
Next, compare add-to-cart to checkout start. Heavy voucher stacking can inflate carts that never pay. Note which promotions were live that week so you do not blame the listing for a campaign side-effect.
Checkout abandonment deserves its own pass. Look for shipping fee surprises, COD vs prepaid mix, and stockouts that interrupt payment. Those issues rarely show in a single blended conversion percentage.
Write three sentences after each review: what moved, what stalled, and what you will change before the next campaign. That short note becomes the seed of a proper conversion report.
